Vendor Biography

Renata Chubb is an emerging intuitive expressive painter. Born in Bermuda, with teen years in British Columbia, and the Bahamas, finally settling in Ontario, Renata now lives and works in Burlington, OntarioRenata has a diploma in graphic design and worked in the design field for 20 years, during this time she solidified her love of, colour, paper, composition, and the visceral effects of visual communication. Craving unfiltered expression, colour, and motion, Renata began drawing and painting as a way to balance out the effects of this digital world.Renata has an appreciation and fascination with creative expression and the creative process, the human need to create. How we create? Why we create? What we individually each get out of the process, as well as what happens when we don’t take the time to create.She believes hands on creating, movement, sound, and play are crucial to maintaining a wholeness in people. Renata is currently an Expressive Art Therapist in training, and teaches painting classes and workshops in Ontario, Canada.
