Vendor Biography

I am an emerging artist based out of Burlington ON. I am a mother of 2 teenagers and I work full time in the finance industry. I started drawing at an early age using pencil and drawing pet portraits. I am working towards building my art skills and career so that I can paint full time. I have no formal training but have always been an avid artist starting with pencil portraits at an early age. After years building a successful career in finance and enjoying being a mom I have turned my attention back to my first love and am dedicating time to fulfil a dream that I really never thought would come to reality. I have started painting with acrylics, using both brush and palette knife for lots of texture. I have focused on landscapes, incorporating lots of vibrant colour, with a nod to my habit of getting into the detail! I am developing my own personal style and continue to explore and grow as an artist and hoping to inspire my daughter who has the “talent” and the passion at the same time!
