Vendor Biography

Kim Clark is a full time artist living and working in Brantford, Ontario.

Through her paintings, she strives to create a refuge, a place for the viewer to rest their eyes, calm their mind, and take them out of their day to day lives through the use of lush colour and sweeping brush strokes, accented by crisp lines and tiny dots. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, for the quick drying time, as it allows her to work quickly to capitalize on the mood that is being created, and not interrupt the flow of the piece. Kim also loves to create new textures by utilizing mixed media, since paint can’t always create what she sees in her head!

Kim’s work has been displayed at The Paris Bohemian Gallery, The Legislative Assembly of Ontario, McMaster Innovation Park, Groundswell Coworking, shows across Southern Ontario, as well as in private collections across Canada and the UK.
