Rekindling a lifelong passion for photography as he
prepared for retirement, Darrell now spends his time
nurturing this passion, focusing on landscape, portrait, and
wildlife photography.

Attention to detail is evident in his photography, at times
spending countless hours & making numerous trips to the
same location photographing the same scene hundreds of
times to get it right!

Along with regular travel, splitting time between a home in
rural Hamilton and a residence in central Florida
constantly feeds his appetite for new and
interesting images.

His photographs are vibrant, dramatic and have a visual
depth that gives the feeling you are standing right there.
Since Darrell has been proactively working his craft, his
landscape pictures have been shipped & published
internationally, his portrait work used as an author’s cover
picture and, out of more than 1000 entries, Darrell
captured top honours in the portrait category during
Photoshop World 2022.

When Darrell chose to delve deeper into his passion, he
made the decision to donate a portion of the proceeds from
his work to cancer research. This year will mark the third
year in a row he will donate.
